Let's Dance!

*Central Oklahoma Dance Center offers unique opportunities for young people to develop high levels of accomplishment in the art of dance.

*CODC offers beginning levels through advanced classes including ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, tap, and hip hop.

*By encouraging and supporting each student in the formative years, the dancers learn discipline, confidence, and body control.

*The goals of the CODC are to promote the art of dance, to provide the highest teaching standards, and to present performance programs for the community.

Congratulations to Taylor Treat  for being crowned Miss Oklahoma 2009!!!!


Taylor danced here at CODC for 15 years and has been teaching here for four.


We are all very happy for you and wish you the best for the coming year!!!!

CODC Welcomed Chia-Chi Chiang

CODC Welcomed Chia-Chi Chiang

Chia-Chi Chiang, originally from Taiwan, earned her BFA Cum Laude in Dance from Ohio University and a MFA with an emphasis in choreography from the University of Utah, where she received the teaching fellowship and the Orchesis Honorary Society‘s Award for excellence in performance and choreography. As a performer, Chia-Chi’s professional performance credits include the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Nikolais Dance Theatre, Neo-Classic Dance Company, and Join Dance Company. She has the pleasure to dance in works of Alwin Nikolais, Trisha Brown, Sean Curran, Viola Farber, Mapi Cravo, Laura Dean, Wayne McGregor, Doug Nielsen, Doug Varone, Ming-Lung Yang, Stephen Brown, Charlotte Boye-Christensen, among others. As a choreographer, her work has been commissioned by Ririe Woodbury Dance Company, Montana Transport Company, Headwaters Dance Company, University of Montana, Western Wyoming Community College, and has been presented in various venues including the Regional and National American College Dance Festivals, University of Utah Faculty and Performing Dance Company Concert, OhioDance’s Choreographers’ Showcase, RWDC Alumni Momenum Concert, Brolly Arts’ H20 Project, Half evening concert in International Contemporary Dance Festival in Bytom, Poland, and American Dance Festival, where she was the recipient of the “Martha Myers” Young Artist Tuition Scholarship. Currently Chia-Chi, a freelance performer, teacher, and choreographer, is working on producing her own concerts and developing her own company.
